Engine

Your engine is the hardest working component of your vehicle, and even with regular servicing, repair work is sometimes needed. Keep in mind that if your RPM says 1000 and you have a four stroke engine, that means each of the cylinders are firing 8 times a second- that’s 8 mini explosions per second, per cylinder, which starts to make the need for repairs and servicing make a lot more sense.

Cooling System

Air Conditioning

Your vehicle’s air conditioning actually degrades more from disuse than from use, as the rubber tubing and seals dry up and crack, allowing the refrigerant gas to leak out and rob your aircon of its cooling power. If you’ve noticed a reduction in cooling power, you should get your air conditioning checked before it stops working completely.

K&C Automotive can arrange for your air conditioning system to be fully repaired, replacing any faulty components and recharging your system with refrigerant once we’re certain its airtight.

If you notice little bars showing through your tyres’ treads, or any swelling or cracks in the sidewalls, you should have your tyres checked as soon as possible. If your tyres are more than five years old, we would recommend you get them checked once a year, even if they look fine.
